Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data GetShuddh collects, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. GetShuddh is run by Towercircle LLP, 246, 9th Phase, KPHB Colony, Hyderabad, Telangana 500085.

1. What we collect

When you book: your name, phone number, email, address, landmark, area, and optionally a Google Maps link and notes for our team.
Your bookings: services, dates and times, prices, coupons used, plans, payments (cash or UPI, and the amount), and invoices.
If you create an account: your email and a password. We store only a secure scrambled form (hash) of your password, never the password itself.
When you contact us: what you write in the contact form.
Technical data: a session cookie that keeps your cart and sign-in working, and basic server logs (such as IP address and time) used for security.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.

2. Why we use it

To take, confirm and carry out your booking, and to send you booking emails and invoices.
So our team can find you and call you about your booking.
To keep accounts and invoices as tax law requires.
To keep the website safe, for example to stop fake bookings.

We use your data with your consent when you book, and where needed to provide the service or follow the law.

3. Who sees it

Our team: the cleaners assigned to your booking see your name, phone, address and booking details. Our office staff see bookings to manage them.
Service providers who help us run the website, only for that purpose: our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services, servers in India), our email sending service, and Cloudflare (a check at checkout that stops bots).
Authorities, only when the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Bookings, payments and invoices: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Your account: until you ask us to delete it. Booking records we must keep by law are kept even after the account is deleted.
Contact messages and security logs: only as long as needed.

5. How we protect it

The website uses HTTPS encryption, passwords are stored only as hashes, and access to customer data is limited to the staff who need it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you;
correct or update it (you can also edit your profile in My account);
delete your data, except what we must keep by law;
withdraw your consent (we may then not be able to provide the service).

You can also nominate someone to act for you, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve your concern.
